Fifty widow households maximum

Financial planning for widows. Protecting what you've built and what comes next.

I limit my practice to fifty families navigating loss. One person who knows your full picture, keeps your CPA, attorney, and other professionals talking to each other, and handles the calls you don't want to make.

The Problem

Grief and the paperwork arrive at the same time and the timing couldn't be worse.

One moment you're trying to catch your breath, and the next you feel the weight of documents, unmade phone calls, and people telling you different things about what you should do first. Everyone means well but no single person is talking to every person involved. No wonder you feel the way you do.

Underneath all of it, you ask a deeply personal question: Am I going to be okay?

You are. The women I've worked with who've sat exactly where you're sitting have come out the other side knowing their finances better than they ever did before. Not because the complexity went away, but because someone finally stepped in to hold all the pieces together. Someone became their source of truth, giving them power over smart decisions.

What is often missing is one person whose job is to see the whole picture.

How This Works

Clarity. Coordination. Continuity.

01

Uncovering your state of being

I want to hear your story. Know what's on your mind. Understand what feels most urgent, what's unclear, and what needs time. Together we'll map out clear options you can move forward with or walk away from entirely. I am not here to add stress. I'm here to take it away.

02

Getting everything in one place

Every account, benefit, and professional in your financial life becomes organized. As a trusted point of contact for all the complexity, I'll build a clear picture of the full situation and report back to you so you can make informed decisions with confidence. Not me making choices for you, but you making choices with a professional behind you.

03

Continued coordination on your behalf

Your CPA, attorney, and advisors stay connected and working from the same plan. The decisions remain entirely yours, and the coordination comes off your hands. Phone calls to banks, attorneys, government offices, I'll handle them. If your children have questions, I'll keep everyone on the same page so you don't have to.

Why the First 18 Months Matter

The most important decisions happen faster than you expect.

The first 18 months are when the most consequential decisions get made, and they tend to happen faster than anyone expects.

When to claim Social Security

What to do with the house

Which accounts to draw from first

Tax windows that open for widows and close whether you're ready or not

Having someone watch the whole board during this time protects what you and he built together, and brings a steadiness that's hard to find anywhere else.

A Little About Christian

Meet Christian Amsberry

I've spent twenty years doing this work, and honestly, it found me more than I found it.

Since my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's, my mom has become the manager of their finances, coordinating his care, and carrying decisions that used to belong to both of them. I do for her what I do for my clients: I carry the weight of coordination so that together we can maximize our strengths and care best for what we care most about. On a daily basis, I see up close how much steadier things become when the right support is finally in place.

Each week, I volunteer with a nonprofit here in San Francisco that helps seniors with the things that quietly pile up when you're managing life alone. These are the tasks that used to belong to someone else but now fall on them alone.

I built this practice around one simple belief: past fifty clients, you stop truly knowing the people you serve. So fifty is the limit, and it always will be. When you call, you get me. Not an assistant. Me.

What This Looks Like a Year From Now

You can KNOW you're going to be okay.

After our initial conversations, widows tell me that they know they're going to be okay. Accounts are set up correctly, your CPA and attorney are working from the same page. You understand your financial picture more clearly than ever.

You remain confident and secure because the choices that have always been yours, now feel that way.

Hi, I'm Christian.

For more than twenty years I've guided widows though everything from unlocking frozen bank accounts to translating pension-speak into plain English. Every meeting feels life lifting a weight off a friend's shoulders. We take one task at a time- retitling accounts, tracking down benefits, building a steady "paycheck" from investments- so you can breathe and focus on healing.

After two decades of advising at a large firms, I built Concierge Wealth deliberately small, which means every phone call, Zoom, or "Am I doing this right?" text lands directly with me. No layers of staff, no scripted answers- just a real conversation whenever you need it. And I'm not at desk, you'll likely find me on Oregon trail with my wife, Tammi, and our dog, Boss, reminding myself that true wealth is measured in memories as much as in markets.
