The Widows Resource Book, a free financial workbook for widows from Concierge Wealth

What the workbook does

A place for everything, sorted into now, soon, and later

01

Now

The first two weeks. Who to notify, which documents to find, and how many death certificates to order. Plain checklists so nothing urgent slips past while you are catching your breath.

02

Soon

The first ninety days. Income and expenses, Social Security, how your taxes change, and a do-not-decide list that protects you from rushing the choices that are hard to undo.

03

Later

When you are ready. The team around you, the exact questions to ask a CPA, an attorney, and a financial planner, and the longer view, for when you have room to think about it.

Why I made this

The grief and the paperwork arrived on the same day

You are trying to catch your breath, and at the same time documents are stacking, calls are unanswered, and people are telling you different things about what comes first. Everyone means well. No one is talking to everyone else.

I made this workbook because the women I sit with kept asking for one plain place to put it all down. So I wrote one, and I want you to have it. No cost, no hook.

You do not have to sort it all today. You just need one place to begin.

A kitchen counter where sorted mail and a fresh flower show order beginning to emerge

What is inside

Four short sections, one plain place for all of it

Checklists, worksheets, and honest notes written for widows in the Bay Area. Start anywhere and go one page at a time. Nothing here assumes you have done this before.

Hi, I'm Christian.

For more than twenty years I've guided widows though everything from unlocking frozen bank accounts to translating pension-speak into plain English. Every meeting feels life lifting a weight off a friend's shoulders. We take one task at a time- retitling accounts, tracking down benefits, building a steady "paycheck" from investments- so you can breathe and focus on healing.

After two decades of advising at a large firms, I built Concierge Wealth deliberately small, which means every phone call, Zoom, or "Am I doing this right?" text lands directly with me. No layers of staff, no scripted answers- just a real conversation whenever you need it. And I'm not at desk, you'll likely find me on Oregon trail with my wife, Tammi, and our dog, Boss, reminding myself that true wealth is measured in memories as much as in markets.
